This Bathroom went from poorly designed, un-usable and out of date space to a beautiful, senior friendly lay-out in less than 2 weeks!! Hope you enjoy the pics of the transformation below.
Installed a light inside shower for better visibility
Made the shower senior citizen friendly with 42" grab-bar
Also a 18" grab-bar just inside door
Installed a slide-bar with handheld sprayer for customer that cannot stand for long periods of time.
Made doorway 32" instead of original 15" what were they thinking?
Frameless 32" glass Euro-style door. Georgous!!!
Moved toilet to back wall of bathroom to allow for a bigger shower. It only made sence!
Put in a 30" vanity instead of original 65" single sink vanity, this allowed for enough room to move toilet on same wall to allow for a shower extention. Once again it only made sence!!
Original 30" x 30" shower with 15" door opening, good luck showering in that!!
75 year old customer couldn't even fit into 15" door for the past 15 years, he hadn't used the shower for that long. Extremely poor thought-out original design.
